2025 Priority
SPECIAL EDUCATION
Last year, we pushed for Atlanta Public Schools (APS) to conduct a special education services audit, and we won.
Now, we need your help tracking progress. Sign our petition demanding a public tracking dashboard to monitor progress.
Nearly 6,000 students in APS have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and the audit set priorities so that all students receiving special education get the services they need to learn and thrive.

Partnering for State Legislative Advocacy
Since 2018, Atlanta Thrive has spoken up for kids in metro Atlanta schools.
The Georgia State Legislature makes major decisions about school funding and rules for school districts.
We are growing our network of state advocacy partners to deepen our impact and efforts to secure quality education for children across Georgia.
